A Hand Up International Inc. believes that access to reliable transportation is a key factor in helping individuals break the cycle of poverty. Our Wheels For Success program was created to provide a practical solution for those facing barriers to employment due to a lack of transportation.

Wheels For Success provides new and refurbished bicycles to individuals who are seeking to obtain and maintain employment, education, or vocational training. For many, the cost of a vehicle, fuel, insurance, or even public transportation is simply out of reach. A dependable bicycle can be the bridge to opportunity helping recipients travel to work, attend classes, access essential services, and provide for their families.

Basic Maintenance Training
Each participant receives a new or professionally refurbished bicycle tailored to their needs (commuter, hybrid, or cargo-style bikes as available).
Helmets, locks, reflectors, and lights are included to ensure safe and secure transportation. (as available)
Recipients learn how to perform simple repairs and upkeep, empowering them to keep their bikes in service long-term. (coming soon)
